Comprising multiple organizations and programs, Chabad of Sacramento provides the education and means to promote Jewish awareness, knowledge and practice through outreach, education and social services ensuring Jewish continuity. Chabad encourages positive action on the part of every Jew and facilitates the efforts of every organization or group to increase Jewish knowledge and observance.

Chabad of Sacramento is part of the worldwide Chabad Lubavitch Movement. Chabad Lubavitch branches are present in every major Jewish city in the world. Uniquely each location is funded individually from its own fundraising campaigns and charitable giving of individuals.

Chabad of Sacramento is the primary staple for many Jewish families and newcomers to Sacramento and surrounding areas. Rabbi Mendy Cohen epitomizes the fundamental principle of Torah, to love our fellow Jews. At Chabad of Sacramento all programs, classes and events are sponsored and all are encouraged to attend, regardless of financial constraints. Fundraising and donations are the vehicle for Chabad of Sacramento to bring such features to our community. Regardless of affiliation all Jews in the Sacramento area take part and are introduced to the genuine love Rabbi Mendy has for everyone, as he helps to enhance the quality of life for people across our community as well as across the globe.
