WELCOME!

A BRIDGE TO THE FUTURE:
Our goal is to offer all Jewish children
an education and memories that will inspire them for a lifetime.
We provide an education that instills Jewish pride, a sense
of history, and a genuine and meaningful understanding of
Judaism. Through this knowledge, these children grow into
informed, thinking Jewish adults who will shape our communities
and our world in years to
LEARN IT, LOVE IT, LIVE IT...

Our Hebrew School
We create an environment that brings
Judaism to life, fosters creativity and supports your child's
unique style of learning. We use a unique approach which
is hands-on and stimulates your child's intellect.

Our Staff
Our Hebrew school teachers are carefully
selected for their extensive knowledge of Judaism and for
their dedication to children. Each teacher lives and breathes
what he or she teaches, providing the best possible model
for our students. Staff members have Rabbinic ordination,
extensive Hebrew language skills, and/or attended teacher's
seminaries. Through their education they have learned the
strategies to successfully share Judaism with children of
all
levels of knowledge and ability. In addition to the Judaic
studies that they teach, they understand the developmental
issues applicable to the age level of their students. In
short, our teachers are as excited about teaching as our
students are about learning!

Our Curriculum
Our curriculum has been designed to
make a lasting, positive impact on
the life of your child. Judaism Comes Alive! Through drama,
song, art and stories we bring Judaism to life. Our innovative
methods make learning fun and memorable. We teach history
by showing Jewish history alongside secular history, a method
that encourages critical thinking. Through our mitzvah curriculum
we emphasize each mitzvah's meaning for everyday life, in
addition to the how-to of ritual observance. Our Hebrew
language curriculum ensures
that your child will be able to read from a ''Siddur'' (prayer
book). More than that, your child will understand the meaning
of many of the prayers. No matter what synagogue your child
affiliates with later in life, she or he will share the
language of prayer with Jews around the world.

Bar & Bat Mitzvah:
We believe that Bar & Bat Mitzvah,
the most important event in the life of a young person,
should be more than rout memorization leading up to an anxiety-ridden
recital of the Torah. Our program delves into the true meaning
of Bar and Bat Mitzvah. Through understanding, each young
person attains greater appreciateion and understanding of
a Jewish adult's responsibilities. Private tutoring is arranged
that accomodates the demands of today's lifestyles. Rabbi
Mendy is available for consultation on all aspectes of the
special day. Your family will have the option of celebrating
in the warm and traditional atmosphere of our synagogue,
or at an outside location of your choice.
